When I started this design journey, I had little idea how far it’d take me. Not to brag or anything, but it had never crossed my mind till late that my little online store could generate over 600 items sold thus far, be visited over 90,000 times, or that so many t-shirt companies would actually call on me and ask to use my artwork.
Here’s looking forward to an awesome Christmas season (I hope)! :)
One RedBubble month later…
Though I’ve been a member over at RedBubble for almost two years, I only began posting stuff online last March. It’s now the first of April, and it’s over 60 sales later with more than 80 designs online, and almost 15,000 people have taken the time to drop in and view my stuff.
If you’re reading this and you’ve taken the time to see my online shop, thanks! It honors me to know that people like what I’m putting out there.
Gotta get back to work then.
A couple of comments from Topless Robot readers:
"I don’t break out words like this very often, but that first t-shirt is f*cking adorable."
"I want that Iron Man shirt. F*cking adorable, but still bad ass in a way."
Topless Robot editor Rob Bricken also made mention of my Chibi-Fi Green Lantern tee, and had this to say about it:
"And if you’re more of a DC guy, he has an equally cute shirt, exact same style, of the Green Lantern Corps here. Chibi Guy Gardner is the f*cking bomb.”
There’s really no higher praise than f*cking and adorable today.
Proposed flyer design for a home slimming service.
For this project, I steered away from the usual, overly Photoshopped style that tends to be characteristic of body and slimming services, and went for an unequivocal image that lets the result speak for itself.
